Mary selling bath boats in 1976
In 1971 Dana Mc Dill made a wooden bath boat for his son Wyatt to play with, his wife Mary adding a sail fair in San Francisco, where they sold fast! Soon Dana had quit his job and moved the whole family—now including son Virgil—back to Minnesota to make boats full-time. More than fifty years later, a bath boat from the world’s greatest bath boats is the quintessential Minnesota toy. From coast to coast, new boat owners are discovering what Midwesterners have known for years: kids love to play with them, they last indefinitely, they are collectible, and they make the ultimate gift for a new baby, birthday, or important life celebration. From everyone at World’s Greatest Bath Boats Happy sailings.
